Deploying Capital Beyond BC with Vancity Community Foundation

About This Project:

This project was a feasibility study that surveyed provinces across Canada to understand the need for pre-developing funding within the affordable housing sector. The collected data showed pre-development funding is hard to obtain for most housing projects, and supported decision making on where to deploy more capital for this part of the development cycle.

Impact:

More regions across Canada will have access to more sources of pre-development funding. Potential partnerships will be created between impact investors and credit unions to support this stage of development projects.
